My favorite all-time game was not covered in the video we watched. The game is, in my opinion, the game that started the revolution of online gameplay for console players. The game had an excellent campaign, but the multiplayer just had so much more shine than the campaign because it had online. This game quickly became the talk of all schools and always had people playing it. The game had a futuristic environment and weapons. Beyond that, it was entirely skill based yet you could have anyone of almost any age pick up the game and still not always get completely dominated. There were certain glitches that anyone could do and was used by the professionals in the MLG such as double shot with the battle rifle, or BxR with any weapon. It had the perfect balance until the introduction of cheating. It gave meaning to the term blue screen and standby that never would have those terms be the same again. Eventually people could cheat by getting host and then hitting the standby button on their cable modem and next thing you know everyone is walking into a wall and you go into an entirely blue screen that made it appear as if someone left. When in reality the "standbyer" has just killed your entire team multiple times. Even despite the different ways of cheating, this game was still the best multiplayer game of all time. I have gone on enough about it, if you played the game great you may or may not remember this video, but this was one of the greats of back then. If you haven't seen this, see why this game took skill unlike Halo 3.
